Located a stones throw from historic Grand Central Station, in the heart of Midtown East, Docks Oyster Bar boasts a menu rich with fresh fish and thoughtfully executed dishes. Our extensive raw bar features shrimp, crab, clams, and daily oysters shucked on the half shell from both the east coast and the west. We pride ourselves on providing seasonal items such as Nantucket Bay Scallops, Florida Stone Crab Claws, Maryland Soft Shell Crabs, and Wild Alaskan King Salmon.

Situated in a thriving business community we are a lunch destination for industry professionals from around the globe. Our weeknight happy hour draws a vibrant after work crowd whom enjoy a wide variety of signature cocktails, martinis and wine. As the sun sets, Docks Oyster Bar transforms into a neighborhood staple where the locals are known by name and guests can enjoy live jazz on Saturday nights and our Seafood Boil on the weekends.

I loved the tasty oysters, fresh sushi, and amazing crab cake sandwich. I had a very relaxing and productive lunch. The staff was awesome. Everyone was upbeat, friendly, and accommodating.

It’s my go to place when planning dinner with friends and family. The food is consistently good and it’s the best bar on the East side. Love this place!

Good service. We started with a bottle of Prosecco and the baked oyster casino. Very nice! The shrimp risotto was excellent and my seafood salad was tasty and filling. We shared the dessert sampler which was a nice variety of desserts.

A very nice lunch experience!

We visited Docks Oyster Bar on Friday, June 28th, 2019 with a party of 10 for dinner in the main dining room. This restaurant takes up a huge piece of real estate in Manhattan.  It is a restaurant that can accommodate a lot of people at once.  It was pretty busy for a Friday night, and we felt like we were definitely taken care of. The ambience was casual but classy, the service was great, and the food was wonderful.

The items that I personally had included:

Fried Calamari - 8/10
Linguini w/ Mussels - 9/10

I really enjoyed my food, and I would definitely come back.  A good experience in a great neighborhood, not far from the hustle and bustle of midtown.

Wow. What can I say? This place is awesome. Food is delicious and service is first rate. I ordered the Yellowfin Tuna and had the Wedge Salad. Food was fresh and presentation was so exquisite. Both were delicious and service was extraordinary. Will add this place to my list of great restaurants.

Exceptional service. Ate at the bar during super busy happy hour. Never felt rushed, never waited. Bartenders asked my name. Amazing value, too.
